The reason for this site is because I'm tired of getting frustrated when looking for maps for TS & the information required to make good maps. Too often when searching through forums (which often is a pain) I find similar questions to research, only to find dead links to the information. Who knows how much valuable information has been lost & needs to be answered again. I plan to seek out as much information as I can and host it here with credited links to original posts. If those links should die like many others in the past, the info will be here.

How can I guarantee this site won't die as well? I can't. Only thing I can say is that I own the habotsteel.com domain and will as long as I'm working and alive. At any time you can click on File/Save as on Explorer and save any page on this site to your hard drive. Make your own personal back ups right on your pc. The big map preview tutorial is only a little over 600KB. It will fit on a 3 1/2 floppy with ease. Images included and you'll be able to open it off line.

Currently, other than the big map preview, I take NO credit for any information found on this site. All I have done is hunted down information or asked questions elsewhere and added the info here. This site's information would not be possible without the information provided by SMIFFGIG, FinalMoon, The_DvD, RVMECH, dEw_MaN, pft1086, fraser101, DJBREIT, Blade & others I can't think of currently, that have posted elsewhere in the past or recently answered.. Any map maker that wants their maps hosted here will get their own seperate page for your work.

Hopefully this site will become an asset to the TS community for finding Tiberian Sun maps & learning to make them.
